At Southwestern, we are a family, which is why every first-year student is given a family group and a CORE Coach to support them through their first year here. CORE Coaches are peers from the same major who are trained to provide emotional, academic, and spiritual support to freshmen so that they can thrive during their first year at Southwestern. They are also trained to address specific needs based on a student's college major and career goals.
