The senior living administration emphasis is a specialized management concentration and is an extremely relevant option for students wanting to start a successful career in assisted living. The program at Southwestern Adventist University features multiple classes specific to senior living management and a senior living internship, ensuring students graduate with competencies in communication and leadership through community interaction and senior living-specific projects.  

The senior living industry is rapidly growing and has a need for compassionate leaders with management skills to meet the needs and care of the senior population. Most of the graduates from this program pursue leadership positions in the business administration and management of senior living communities. Some of our graduates choose to continue their education in graduate school, resulting in successful careers in many of these fields at an even higher level.
