The Tutoring Center is here to help!
The Tutoring Center, part of the Office of Student Success, provides academic support to help students succeed from their first semester through graduation. Our tutors work closely with faculty and staff to help students strengthen their understanding of course material, develop effective study habits, and gain confidence in their academic abilities.
Whether you need help reviewing course concepts, preparing for exams, organizing assignments, or improving study strategies, our tutoring team is here to support you.
Tutoring Support Options
Students have several ways to receive academic support through the Tutoring Center.
Peer Tutoring
Students can meet one-on-one or in small groups with trained peer tutors for assistance with course material, assignments, and study strategies.
Tutor.com – 24/7 Online Tutoring
SWAU students also have access to Tutor.com, an online tutoring platform available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Through Tutor.com, students can connect with live tutors for help in a wide range of subjects including math, science, writing, business, and more.
Additional Support by Request
If you need assistance outside of scheduled tutoring hours, the Office of Student Success may be able to provide support. Students are encouraged to reach out to request additional help when needed.
Tutoring Hours
Monday - Thursday
6:00-9:00 PM
Students who would like tutoring support outside of tutoring hours should contact the Tutoring Coordinator to request an appointment or learn about available tutoring times. The coordinator will help connect you with a tutor for your course and schedule a time that works for you.
If you are unsure whether tutoring is available for a specific subject, feel free to reach out. We will do our best to help you find the support you need.
