Support the Departments

Our academic departments and student programming are important to us, and your gift to support their work provides much-needed funds to enhance our academics, athletics, and extra-curricular programming. Student groups, such as ENACTUS and our athletic teams, are making a huge impact on the community and abroad by participating in mission trips and community projects. Academic departments are finding new ways to enhance the learning experience by creating hands-on experiences for students, conference and workshop participation, and trips that expand beyond the classroom environment.

The Impact of the Department Needs Fund

• Establishes programs such as the first Adventist Innovation & Entrepreneurship Center in 2021 
• Grows and develops the SWAU Knight athletics program 
• Provides local churches with music performance assistance  
• Aids in the production of the annual English Department play 
• Supports international tours for the University Singers and SWAU Honors program
