Academic Assessment
Academic Assessment
What are our students learning? How well are our programs performing? How do we measure success? Each year, degree, certification programs at Southwestern Adventist University collect and report data on student learning through annual assessment reports. Academic program assessment involves clearly defining learning outcomes and using student learning data to enhance and strengthen programs.

Reports
Academic assessment reports are submitted annually through Watermark Planning & Self-Study, documenting student learning from the previous academic year. Faculty members are encouraged to review assessment findings, discuss results, and develop action plans to improve their programs based on the collected data.
