Southwestern Adventist University is proud to welcome Jamey Ray to the annual A Night at the Meyerson concert on March 22, 2026. Ray will be premiering two new original compositions, one of which is written specifically for the Meyerson concert. Ray will also be conducting the University Singers and the Mass Choir for several performances.
A native Floridian, Jamey Ray is the founder, sole arranger, and producer of Voctave, crafting every note the group has sung since its launch in 2015 and producing all of its recordings. A former music professor at Rollins College for 15 years, he now serves as choral editor for Excelcia Music Publishing, curating an ever-growing catalog for choirs nationwide. His passion for choral music began as a member of the Florida Boychoir, and today his published works are performed across the country as he appears regularly as a clinician and guest conductor. His arrangements have been featured on albums by Pentatonix, The King’s Singers, and The Swingles, and he has produced hundreds of recordings for Broadway and Disney performers as well as ensembles including Voctave, the Bach Festival Society of Winter Park, and the Liberty Voices.
This is the 33rd annual A Night at the Meyerson concert, the culmination of the annual Festival of the Arts. Hundreds of high school students attend the Festival from around the country, creating a celebration of arts that is a wonder to experience. Student art exhibits will also be featured at the Meyerson, preceding the concert. Tickets are available at swau.edu/meyerson.
