Adventist Health System has undertaken a business endeavor that provides endowments to benefit the allied health and business programs at the Adventist colleges in the Southern and Southwestern states.
The company, Adventist Care Centers, Inc. (ACC), is managed through a partnership between Sunbelt Health Care Centers (SHCC) and the Adventist educational institutions. "Adventist Care Centers will expand awareness and the mission of the Seventh-day Adventist Church while supporting and providing endowments for higher education programs," said Glenn Choban, president of SHCC. "These endowments will result in a continuing flow of funds for partnering colleges through the acquisition and operation of nursing homes."
