New Online Resources Provided Through RightNow Media

Tim Kosaka

Southwestern Adventist University continues to pursue new ways to connect in 2020 by providing all students, alumni and employees with complimentary access to RightNow Media - the world’s largest library of Bible study video resources. Access to this library provides users with Christ-centered resources over countless topics and formats.

RightNow Media is often referred to as the Netflix of Christian Bible studies. Offering over 17,000 video resources from 150 leading Christian publishers, users can enrich their faith work through personal or group studies in areas such as personal development, leadership, marriage and relationships. The university calendar includes a long break between semesters with students finishing their classes via online learning after Thanksgiving. Providing access to RightNow Media will allow the impact of the various campus worship opportunities and small groups to continue in a virtual format!

“Apostle Paul in his letter to the Romans (10:17) states that faith comes from hearing the message and the message is heard through the word of Christ (paraphrase of NIV). This online library of Christ centered resources will allow our SWAU family to grow in our faith and prepare us to be more effective in our service for God,” shares Russ Laughlin, Vice President for Spiritual Development. “This resource is an excellent tool that allows us to grow spiritually at our own pace. I am excited to see how God can use this resource to deepen our faith in Him.”

In the next few weeks, members of the university family will receive an invitation via email to create their free RightNow Media account. Individuals who do not receive their access by mid-November are encouraged to reach out to SWAU to ensure the invitation has been sent to the correct email.
