Southwestern Adventist University (SWAU) offers English as a Second Language (ESL) program to help students improve their English language skills to succeed in academic classes, in the workplace, and in everyday life. Students will learn in small classes taught by highly qualified instructors, and state-of-the-art technology and resources. The program will improve your English language skills and along the way, you will gain a valuable cultural experience in a Christ-centered environment.

How to Get Started
The following steps will set you on your way to becoming part of the SWAU family:
- Fill out your application. swau.edu/apply
- Schedule an interview with your admissions counselor. admissions@swau.edu
- Send your documents for the immigration process to the admissions office.

SWAU, located in Keene, Texas, is in the heart of the Fort Worth-Dallas-Waco trian- gle and within an hour drive in all directions! Being in close proximity means you’ll have endless opportunities to explore, discover and experience the cultural and entertainment offerings of the area.

Living on Campus
SWAU's dorms are spacious, stylish, and fully equipped with modern amenities. Furnished with comfortable beds, ample storage, and study areas. Our ESL program is structured to enable you to make the most of your time at SWAU by allowing you to progress rapidly and efficiently. The courses are delivered in an English immersion format, which will assist you in gaining the essential language tools and skills required to become a proficient English speaker.
