Degrees Offered
Bachelor of Science (BS) in Elementary Education: For those who aspire to teach students from kindergarten through eighth grade. Certification options vary for the State of Texas and the North American Division of Seventh-day Adventists. Teaching options include self-contained classrooms, departmentalized programs, and single-subject concentrations.
After obtaining an initial certification for the State of Texas, educators may apply for additional certifications. Additional information regarding a Seventh-day Adventist credential may be found at adventisteducation.org.
Secondary and K-12 Teaching Certification Programs:
Secondary and Kinder-12th grade Teaching Certifications are designed for students taking a degree in a content area who desire to teach.

Alternative Certification Program: For individuals who already possess a bachelor's degree in a non-education field and wish to become certified teachers.
