English Program Overview
In our close-knit English department, you will immerse yourself in classic literature, lively writing workshops, and meaningful classroom discussions. Our small class sizes and caring professors create an environment where you can refine essential skills in self-expression, creative writing, close reading, critical analysis, and argumentation. You will also have the chance to intern at our campus writing center, The Write Spot, to gain hands-on teaching and human service experience—all of which prepare you to stay grounded, connected, and compassionate in a fast-moving world.
